hi,

im integrating jqgrid with CI, done that in this http://www.trirand.com/blog/jqgrid/jqgrid.html#

but i am unable to get it the edit row in the event feature. I've done all necessary procedures.. btw- i am able to populate my grid using json datatype.

anyone please help me. ive spent 4hr figuring this out

Hello,

You missed a important part in the colModel. I do not see where you define that the field is editable.

Also to work this you should set editable:true ion colModel.

I recommend you to read first the documentation about editing
