hi,

With jqGrid 4.6, there’s an pivot option “rowTotals”, if set to ‘true’, it will summarize all column values of the row.

After upgrade to 5.0, the option doesn’t work anymore.

Do anyone have the same problem? Or how can I do to add a column to show the total value of a row?

Hello,

Thanks for the post.
Definitely there is a problem with rowTotals in version 5.

Currently we work on the fix and it will be available tomorrow.

hi,

After update the jquery.jqGrid.min.js file, the rowTotals column still not show up.

In this case can you please post a simple test case which demonstrates the problem or send a link to the problem?

wow!

I just downloaded the jquery.jqGrid.min.js file from GitHub/jqGrid/js/minified/ then replaced the old one in my project.

Is that all I need to do?

How can I make sure that my project is running with the new version?

Hello,

Yes this is the step.

Do not forget to clear your browser cache. This is very important.

The date of the downloaded file should point August 19, 2015 – i.e 2015-08-19

Yes!! I did it!

I tried to find all possible clean action in my IDE, and nothing changed.

Then, I download all script and css files from your demo website and use them instead, it works! But I Still want to know which one breaks the function, so switch them back to mine one by one. Finally I found it IS the jquery.jqGrid.min.js file! It’s really strange that the one from GitHub doesn’t work..

Big thanks for you! It’s really a big surprise that I can get response so instant from here!

hi,

I found another problem, it’s about the group sort order.

The column order is depend on the data input, and the row order, I expected to control it by the ‘groupingView’ option, but seems not working.

Please refer to this file. The column order is ok(just as the input data), but the group order is not what I want. It should be: G01->G01G11->G01G12->G01G13->G01G14.

Is there a new way to control the column order and the row order?

PS. do I need to create a new post about this issue?
