I try to implement DrillDown functionality for my Pivot table.
Therefore i want to use a custom formatter which creates a url.
xDimension: [{formatter: urlFmatter, dataName: 'Config.Name'},
Same problem for the hidden attribute.
This is a expected behavior. The reason for this is the new option in grouping introduced with the pivot.
The option is named hideFirstGroupCol and it is set to true when pivot is enabled.
Partially I have fixed this enabling to overwrite group options in pivot. This can be achieved when you use groupingView in grid options like this.
$(“#pivot”).jqGrid('jqPivot', 'url',
{…}, //pivot options
{groupingView:{ hideFirstGroupCol : false}, // grid options
…
);
Note that this is only in the fixed code in git hub.
I will think in the future how to fix this.

Thank you very much, the fix is working for me.
I tried to make a workaround for this problem by sorting my json response serverside.
Than i found out that “hidden:true” works only for the very last dimension.
Do you have any suggestions to solve my problem?
Edit: There is an option “isGroupField”. With this option enabled i can hide other dimension 🙂
You can try to set groupColumnShow in the same gridViewOptions to false. (this is not tested from)

I am struggling with this (formatter not firing when associated with xdimension dataname). I need to decorate the cell value before output.ÂÂ

Should the custom formatter be firing for these even if they are not “aggregates”? Note that it works like a charm for aggregate columns.
