Hi,

My jqGrids on 3.6.5 worked perfectly. When I upgrade to either 3.7.2, 3.8 or 3.8.1 I have issues with local sorting. The grid loses one of the records from the grid, and dates don't sort correctly anymore. I get NaN erros in the date colums.

Any ideas?

I just resolved the issue with the grid losing a record by removing
rowNum: -1

Thanks! that sorte dout the losing record issue, but I still have the sorting problem in 2.72 and 3.8.

Hello casperd,

you should post a full code example (including the filling jqGrid with the test data) which can be used to reproduce you problem.

Sorry but to make any tests one need some test JSON data.

I already see one small errors in your javaScript file: there are no autoWidth parameter in jqGrid: only

Hello casperd,

Could you post the information which jqGrid language file you use. Morover test JSON data will be also required to be able to reproduce your problem. You can see JSON data in Fiddler or Firebug.

I'm using the grid.locale-en.js language file. I'm using an XML data source, and not JSON. Here's an extract of my XML:

Hello Cas,

the code which you posted has some problems. First, I don't found datatype:'xml' in the code which you posted. Second, your XML data has no page and total items. So it will be

Hi Cas,

I understand why some parameters are missing, but all other problems stay opened. I recommend you to rewrite your code using the custom formatters.

Hi Oleg,

I have removed the datefmt: 'd m Y', and also added: formatoptions:{srcformat:'m/d/Y',newformat:'d M Y'}.

This still works on version 3.6.5, but breaks on 3.72 and 3.8.
