Is it possible to set two header rows in jqgrid ? I can't find an example of this on the web.

It's depend on the interpretation what one mean under the multi-line headers. If you don't mean the header split with the rowspan and colspan you can implement multi-line header very easy just with CSS. See my answer on the stackoverflow.con.
