jqGrid always adds the same value of cell into HTML title tag of
. This increases the memory requirement and is sometimes anoying to user.

Is there a way (could it be added) to dissable this functionality ? Separate grid and colModel option would be great.

Hello,

Thanks. This is requested many times, so will be added in the next releases.

For now you can use gridComplete to remove the title like this

$(“#tr td”,”#mygrid”).removeAttr(“title”),
