We currently have an SQL of 3k records.

Our loading time is about 3 seconds.

On the other hand, your loading time for 1M records is about 1/3 of a second on this page:

http://www.guriddo.net/demo/demos/jqgrid/

What is the trick?

Are you on a dedicated server with SSD?

Are you only loading the first 50 records to display the page?

Hello,

Nothing special – we just load the data on portion. Actually it is not good idea to put all the data on client (if it is relative big). This will consume a lot of memory and will slow down the application.

The good thing is to load a data from 20-50 records per page. Again with good indexing and relative good server this will speed your data loading.
