I am trying to format the dialog box for the View Selected Row button.
As the dialog should be a jQuery UI dialog, the 'option' method should work on it ? (http://jqueryui.com/demos/dialog/#method-option). You could use it to change size.

First jqGrid does not use the UI Dialog.
Todd please read the new docs – there is a such parameter which control this.
