Hi, 

I have just started learning how to use jqGrid. I have found this most challenging, especially in light of the difficulty in finding where to start. I focused on one of the demos at this page http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid/jqgrid.html (the Json one in the Loading Data section), but was informed by a helpful person on Stackoverflow that this was out of date and not the recommended way of doing things. 

So, can anyone please point me in the direction of some demos which are up-to-date.
