I have one of my columns as such in the grid definition

{name:'repeated_hr_type', width:100,editable:true,formatter:'select', edittype:”select”, editoptions:{value:”EXCLUDE:EXCLUDE_REPEATED_HR;INCLUDE:INCLUDE_REPEATED_HR;ONLY:REPEATED_HR_ONLY”}},

but when I view the grid using the latest jqgrid version..The above column looks plain and doesnot show any data , until I click on the cell then the select control is visible..

while in the older version the column shows up correctly with the data and aftre I click the cell it shows the selct control..Not sure why 3.4 is behaving like this ?
