I am new to JQGrid, please help me with this issue, when we do a search or sort the POST data has the column name as the search/sort parameter, I would like to use the Column Index instead, is there a way to do this
There is parameter in colModel index. If set the posted data is the index. By example colModel : [ {name: 'name2', index:'myindex'..}..] will post the myindex when sorting.
