The right click does not trigger the beforeSelectROw and rather goes straight into the onSelectRow code.
Same problem here, any solution?

In onSelectRow (which is used from you) we pass 3 parameters
onSelectRow ( rowid, status, event)
If you want to cancel the edit if the right button is clicked you can do
onSelectRow : function( rowid, status, event )
