I am using jqGrid in my asp.net MVC application. I have a requirement to detect the text pasted by mouse right click->paste option and then do some data validation on the pasted text.

How can I capture this event? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look in the jqGrid documentation. There are onRightClickRow event which you can use.

Thanks for mentioning the event. I am doing a right click on a grid cell and pasting some text. How can I get the value of the pasted text now?
