I am looking to implement jsgrid as a pivot table, by this I mean I want to be hable column header groups and to be able to explode data or sub data form rows and cols.

Any one ahs an idea if this is in the roadmap or where to beginto customize?

Hello,

Sorry, there are no plans for this, but I'm sure with little programing you can convert the data from one grid to pivot table. If you use server side data I recommend you to do this server side using a standart SQL – there are a quite good lessions for this. (you need just to google it)

I already have this implemented with YUI datatable, I was basically looking for something lighter.

In YUI this feature is called nested tables

Basically a group of column headers can have a master column header
