Heads up.

Updating to the latest jQuery version 1.8.0 caused the add row option in navGrid to stop working.

I can confirm this.

Some standard navbar icons are not working when upgrading jQuery to 1.8.0. This is with jqGrid

I have fixed the problem in GitHub

Also have made some other 1.8 fixes.

You can test it.

Hello,

Not sure what you do, but for me this is working fine.

I do not have a chance to test this only for IE 7/8 browsers.

Please clear your browser cache and test.

Be a sure you load the correct files. There is no min file from github.

I just tried installing the new jqGrid 4.4.1, which purportedly supports jQuery 1.8, but when I try to utilize 1.8 instead of 1.7.2, the navGrid functions still fail for me in Firefox 15 (my primary testing browser). Is anyone else still seeing this issue?
