Hello,

Is there a way to make exception on jqgrid multiselection?

I don’t want to select certain rows. also I do not want to select these rows when I click on select all check box button.

How can i solve this problem?

Hello,

If I correctly understand the requirement, you need you add a disabled class to this row, it will be not selected either with user input and when you click SelectAll.

If you use jQuery UI css the class is named ui-state-disabled

If You use Bootstrap 3,4,5 the class is named ui-disabled

Another question – I there a easy way to add this class during initialization. Now I use jQuery like



$("#rowid").addClass("ui-disabled");

$("#rowid").addClass("ui-disabled");

Hello,

You can use rowattr event for this purpose.

Below Example:

$('#grid').jqGrid({
    ...
    rowattr : function( rowData ) {
        if( rowData.myfield === 'A') {
            return { "class": 'ui-state-disabled' };
        } else {
            return {};
        }
    },
    ...
});

$('#grid').jqGrid({

...

rowattr : function( rowData ) {

if( rowData.myfield === 'A') {

return { "class": 'ui-state-disabled' };

} else {

return {};

}

...

});
