Grid as SubGrid, I use beforeShowForm to populate a value in the SubGrid.

You can use the option
clearAfterAdd : false
which does not clear the entered values, but I think this is not
applicable for you. I have added afterComplete event which fires after
the recortd is posted and inserted to the grid. This will be available in the next release.
