Hi Team,

We have licensed Guriddo product v5.8.0. We have been trying to implement Single search feature for our application using jqGrid JS using the example code listed on your demo site – http://www.guriddo.net/demo/guriddojs/searching/search_all/index.html

Though this demo implementation works smoothly with v5.7.0, the “filterInput” function fails to work for v5.8.0. We request your urgent support and assistance on this issue.

Hello,

It is not a bug. We just fix some not wanted behavior of the search property in colModel for this method

To continue use the search on all fields set searchAll option to true in the method.

... $("#jqGrid").jqGrid('filterInput', self.value, {searchAll: true}); ...

We have fixed our code in the demo too.

We understand that this will maybe break other users and have revert the change back. This will be available in the upcoming 5.8.2 release.
