One possible solution (use the last version of jqGrid) to collapse all opened subgrids is:

var minuses = table.find(”img[src$=minus.gif]“,”#mygridid”).each(function() {

$(this).parents(”td”).eq(0).click();

});

The same to expand all.

Can you get the all available row id's when the grid is loaded? I think yes.

Can you loop these values and for every value to call

$(“#mygrid”).expandSubgridRow(rowid)? I think yes
