Hi all,

I have: jqGrid 4.1.2, FIrefox 6, IE9 and Windows 7 x64.

I noticed that in both FIrefox 6 and IE9, an empty vertical scrollbar displays when you initially load the page.

When using the setGridWidth method, the empty scrollbar flashes on and off as you resize the browser window left or right.

Is there any way to fix this behavior?

Hi,

the problem still exists in jqGrid 4.2

When I resize the width of the grid and scrolling is not needed, the space for vertical scrollbar is grabbed by the grid table.

If I change the number of rows and scrollbars are needed now, I get a horizontal scrollbar too, because jqGrid doesn't resize the grid table.

How can I force that the space for the vertical scrollbar is never grabbed by the grid table?

I used jqGrid 4.2, jQuery 1.6.4, jQuery UI 1.8.16 with Firefox 7.0.1 and Windows 7 x64
