Hi,

I didn't like the way the editoptions worked, because you couldn't use colons or semicolons. So I thought insted of using a dumb list for the editoptions, it would be nice to use a json object (needs to be tested) – what is your opinion to this?

And yes – it would be nice to include it in a future jqgrid release …

Hello,

Thank you very much. I will see what I can do. The real problem is that

when I change this – all user using jqGrid should change thier code, wich

IMHO is not good.

I see. Maybe for the next major relese then – I'll have to patch the source until …

Maybe it would be worth mentioning in the manual and tutorial, that you cannot use , ; and : in the editoptions for select.

Sorry – I tottaly missed this.

Will be in the next release. We should just check if the value is a object

perform the needed operation.
