Hello,

Try to use

searchOnEnter : false

in the filterToolbar method.

You put these options in the wrong place. Please read carfully the docs

http://www.trirand.com/jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:toolbar_searching&s=autosearch

These are parts of filterToolbar and not a part from colModel.

Hello tony,

text-cell autosearching works with:

myGrid.jqGrid('filterToolbar', {searchOnEnter : true}); or

myGrid.jqGrid('filterToolbar', {});

select-cell autosearching not works yet with:
