I used columnChooser and advanced search fetures in my grid, and everything works well.
Recently I added the filterToolbar in the same grid. No toggle, just display the filter text box when the grid loaded. So one line
I was experiencing this issue using 4.5.2, so I used:
$('list').jqGrid('navButtonAdd', '#pager') {
