Hi,
I would like to have drag-and-drop columns reordering in jqGrid.

I think I can handle the logic concerning reloading data into reordered columns, etc. The blocker for me is the dragging. So if anyone there (tony? ) is able to implement the dragging of column headers, I could do the rest.

So, if you are interested, please let me know.

Hello,

I have play little with jQuery UI sortable.

It can not work on td – i.e

fff sss

$(“.sort”).sortable(…);

But it work with (bugs) on table rows – i.e this work

…

$(“.sort”).sortable(…);

We need actually the first one. I will post a question in the jQuery UI group

about this. If this can be done – it will save me a lot of writting code.

Hello,

It is not included in this release. I'm just in the middle of this. It is not so easy as I think. Maybe it will not be finished for this release, but when I'm ready I will to ask here for testing.
