Thanks for this control which I am finding very useful.

The jqGrid demo of Advanced Search functionality (http://www.trirand.com/blog/jqgrid/jqgrid.html > New in version 3.5 > Advanced Searching) does not work properly in either of the two browsers I have tried:

1. In Firefox 3.6, it displays an empty grid with no search controls accessible, (Firebug shows an error: “uncaught exception: [Exception… “Component returned failure code: 0x805e000a [nsIXMLHttpRequest.open]” nsresult: “0x805e000a ()” location: “JS frame :: http://www.trirand.com/blog/jqgrid/js/jquery.js :: anonymous :: line 19″ data: no]”) and
2. In IE6.0 it displays 13 rows of contents in the grid, but still shows no search controls.

There is also a problem in the code given for the example because it creates a div with id “s4pager”, while the code refers to “#s3pager” (near the end).

If you have the chance to fix these details, it may also be worth changing the first sentence to read: “This example demonstrates the entirely rewritten searchGrid method.”
