sorry put a save button before finishing
you should
var response = “{ [{'id':'5','name':'john smith'}] }“;
and configure jsonReader for this.
Please first refer to documentatin before posting issue.
Also you can use the addJsonData in the way that you have – i.e not in datatype function.
