.I understand that there is a limitation of two column headers in jqgrid, but I was curious if anyone has found a workaround to add more? This has become a critical issue for me to use jqgrid in my application.
Here is the JSON that I am using – the idea is the last item in the array would go across the top, but it is ignored by the current code:

I think the example could be interesting for other users of jqGrid. I think that one can extend the code of jqGrid based on the example to implement the same functionality as the part of standard jqGrid code.
