How can I add buttons: new, edit, delete, refresh at the top toolbar with the same look of the buttons on the navigation bar?

But what I want is to add the buttons on the top bar of the grid not the botton bar

Is that the only solution?
You can add any content on the top toolbar, but if you want to be compatible with the buttons on the pager – yes this is the solution.
You may have a look into the demo
New in version 3.1 => Toolbars and userdata
in order to see haw you can add any content.
