I want to add a row before or after current row, is there a simple way to accomplish this?

The function addRowData can do that

Thank you for the response. We did use addRowData but had some trouble. Finally followed the suggestion from here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8433499/jqgrid-how-to-add-a-row-in-any-position-inside-the-grid-via-modal-form/8437659#8437659
