I have a feature request for Toolbar Searching (loadonce set to true, so it's a local search situation). When Toolbar finishes the search (with conditions of “begins with” or “contains”, etc), I wonder if jqgrid can highlight the background of the matched text. This will be very nice if it can be compatible with the new “IgnoreCase” feature, so that if people type “restaurant”, this will highlight “Restaurant” in the matched results.

The highlight match can have additional options, such as highlight background color that can be set by the developer.

This would be a great feature addition.
