I'm looking for some performance improvements.

Is there any efficient way to change the colModel (columns, headers and some other properties like event-callback-functions) for an existing jqGrid object without the need to unload the old one and recreate a new one.

Because a full GridUnload and recreating a new jqGrid is very time and CPU consuming.
