Hi,

What is the complete syntax for hiding the row of jqGrid. I am searching the docs, but I think I am little impatient here!

My table name is “extracts” and I want to hide the rows where column “intID” is 4 (or anything)

I have got the row id, now how to hide?

Sorry forgot to metion one thing – I am using an local array.

It is simple:

if(some condition) {

(“#row_with_row_id”,”#mygrid”).css({display:”none”})

}

(“#row_with_row_id”,”#mygrid”).css({display:”none”}) ,it seems do not work,

the code is just like

(“#1″,”#mygrid”).css({display:”none”})

a error happens.

Hi,

Tony left out the $ sign to the first pair of parenthesis, like k24 noticed.

Also works:

$(“#”+rowname).hide();

$(“#”+rowname).show();

if($(“#”+rowname).css('display') == 'none') { //row is hidden

}else{ //row is shown…
