I was just testing my application on IE8 and we use jqGrid for tabular data display. I noted that it shows first blank row with id as _empty. If I see the same page in compatibility view it appears fine !

Please let me know what changes should we make in our coding so that it would appear fine even on IE8 without compatibility mode.
