Are there any features currently in jqgrid to manipulate display characteristics of data in the grid only? For example, if a value I have is an email address or a url, it would be nice to allow it to be converted in the grid into a hyperlink, like what gmail does.

On a related note, it would be nice to be able to apply some additional formatting to a cell value based on some rules. For example, if “remaining balance” is less than 100, show it in red and bold (or whatever).

Can these things be accomplished with the current release?
