Hi,

I am newbie to jqGrid. What I understood from the documentation that once the page is loaded, jqGrid would fire another request to load the data (based on url and other parameters).

Actualy, I was checking the possibility, wherein I can pass the initial data justa along with the page and it can be then formatted into grid (on client side) on page load.

Hope you got my point.
