Tony,

I have stripped the grid down to the bare bones and the expandSubGridRow still does not expand on the gridComplete event.

Yes, the alert fires if I click the plus image.

Tony,

I took the function details out of the picture by changing the subGridRowExpanded to just be an alert:

subGridRowExpanded: function(subgrid_id, row_id){alert(“details”)},

The subGrid still doesn't expand.

1. jQuerry version – 1.3.1

2. jqGridVersion – 3.4.1

3. OS – Windows XP SP3

4. browser – Firefox 3.0.6

5. Problem – I can't get jqGridImport to work.
