I understand now that jqGrid 3.6.4 includes the jqModal changes necessary to work with jQuery 1.4.2 so I am good to go.
Sorry, Oleg,
Yes, I should follow the protocol on reporting issues.
JqGrid 3.6.4
JQuery 1.3.2
jqModal 1.3 – part of 3.6.4
I also tried jqModal 1.4 and had the same issue.
This seems to be a browser detection issue.
Tony,
jqGrid does in fact work with IE.
Sorry, Tony, I was as little frustrated.
I mispoke on the 999 record issue.
That sounds good.
rsh uses a hidden iframe to store the browser history.
I already use
which should be good per the other posting.
I tried the body style changes that you suggest in the other posting but the overflow:hidden causes IE to show a background only page.
Hey Tony,
Any other ideas?
Jerry
Thanks, Tony,
Sorry but I get the same result with {zIndex:2000}.
I also confirmed that add, edit and delete don't show in IE if enabled.
How do I set the z-index in the search parameters?
expandSubGridRow() on page 95 of the documentation should do the trick.
The problem was that I had subGrid:'true' instead of subGrid:true.
