Minor JSON syntax issue in documentation excerpt follows
invdata: [{“1″,”cell11″,”cell12”}]
Should be
invdata: “1”,”cell11″,”cell12″
Replaced {} with [],

Sounds like that might be a different issue
The file I changed is grid.base.js
