    Hi FusionGuy,

    Once you set the z-index as per tcezair's post and you get it working, are you able to type into the textboxes in the edit window?

    For me, having a jqgrid in a modal dialog locks the textboxes so i can't type into them, just curious if you have the same issue

    I've been looking into this for hours, one interesting thing ive found is that the DOM elements that are left lying around are

    elements with no parent.

    Hi Assiah,

    Im programming with ASP.NET and SQL Server, but I am also using a function for datatype to load the grid, and have no problems using editurl for add/edit/deletes.

    I can't help you any more than that i'm afraid – just confirming that editurl works for me when using a function for datatype
