I had already made sure it's not a version issue.

It's a bug.

I am having the same problem. First time I open column chooser it works fine on the second attempt it will not open the dialog.

good question …

I am guessing that Tony expects people store the display value in the database for ease when using the search text entered, when I (like you) would rather store the key and have jqGrid translate the display on the client side and let us write code to translate the 'Search Text' back to the key value for look up. Maybe Tony can add an option to handle both ?

My guess is that you are storing 0 & 1 as the actual value in your database, and your 'dataurl' webservice is not translating 0 & 1 to their respective display values. When you look at the raw data what's initially being fed into your grid? 0 or Op1?

OK thanks!

I agree the toppager should be below the caption, but I also think the losing the inherited width is a big problem.

Hi Tony,

1. I opened the FireBug console and do not see this. Also the font size used here (if I remember) is 0.8em.
