I am using row spanning in jqgrid as described in the following answer: Jqgrid – grouping row level data

The problem that I am having is once I set a column with the row span on it to frozen = true, the overlay that shows up loses the row spanning so the overlay doesn’t cover the entire table and the rows don’t line up with the proper data. Is there a way to insure the frozen columns that show up will use the same row span as the original table?

It does work in FireFox, but not Chrome or IE.

No problem, I thought I was going crazy until a co-worker reminded me to try other browsers.

I did test it and it looks good. Thanks for making this a priority.

I did notice in IE that the column headers did not freeze with the column data.

I understand you just finished this, but do you have a time frame for your next release? My management is trying to decide if we should use the code from github or wait for a release.

Hello,

Thank you again for the note. This problem was very difficult to be fixed and it should act as lesson for me that I should test in all browsers including IE11. The problem was only for IE11 – it is fixed now.

In the moment I do not have MS Edge to test it, but I hope it will work, since Edge is not IE.

We plan to have new bug fix release at beginning of the June. The bug fix will no differ from the code of GitHub, so you can use it if you want.

Please let me know if everything is going as expected ( you can download the new build from GitHub)
