jqGrid Version: 3.6.4

Browser: FF 3.5.8/IE 8

With true scrolling set to on, if I do rapid scroll ups and downs, the grid invariably shows a negetive number for the start record number (at the bottom left corner of the screen) and the grid itself goes blank. This happens only when the last scrolling operation is a scroll up and that too when the grid is scrolled near to the top but not exactly to the top.

The value of base (grid.base.js line 695) becomes negetive in this situation.

Hello,

Thanks, but I can not reproduce this, for me there are no negative numbers or maybe I do not do it like is described!

Tony,

thanks for looking into it. I can reproduce this almost at will. I will give another shot at explaining the sequence.

1. Grab the scrollbar and drag it to somewhere near the bottom and release the mouse button.
2. While the “Loading” message is still on, grab the scrollbar again and drag it to somewhere near the top.

The important thing is not to let the data load completely before you start the scroll up.

Thanks. At end I can reproduce it. Now I think I have found the problem.

I will let you known, if I made the changes to this.
