I have seen in another post that I cannot freeze the first column or any others. Is this being developed, and if yes, then how long until it is release as a feature?

I’ve been looking around at all kinds of places to try and find a grid that will do everything that I need. So far I have not found anything. But, I’d be willing to take a look at the column freezing feature if you’d like to share where I should start looking. I haven’t been into the JQGrid code since right before the 1.3 jquery upgrade version.
I think this is the only feature that I need that your grid does not support, so if I could help at all then maybe I could take a look.
I had to get the fixed header and footer done which worked with the windows scroll bar and not the jqgrid scroll bar. I was able to manage with JQuery eventually. Does anyone know of better solution…
