Hi

I want to show the javascript alert message of “Please select a row to edit” instead of the default message of jqGrid when the user clicks the edit image button in pager.

Is it possible.

Hello,

You can add these actions (edit/add/delete) with custom buttons (using navButtonAdd) and make the java script alert when the row is not selected.

Yeah…. right… that I know… thx.

But is there any way to add this functionality to the existing edit image button without going for a custom button.

If not then I would request this feature in the next version if you all dont mind.
