Many of my web pages consist of a filter bar and grids.
Hello,
Set the initial type of datatype local and then change the datatype and reload the grid. Something like
…jqGrid({
datatype: 'local',
…
}).setGridParam({datatype:'json'}).trigger(“reloadGrid”)
