Thanks for your reply.

The workaround that i am using now is to cause all subgrids to collapse when a sort command is called on the parent table.

Hello,

I have fixed this bug. Currently it is available only in jqGrid 3.5 Alfa 2. I will publish a stable 3.4.4 version soon.
