I have static data in an array but still need to be able to filter it with the “search” feature. Is this possible? I'm using JqGrid 3.3.1.

For example, I want my grid set up to populate with data from a static array (not pulling from a database) or an XML file would work too. I want the colModel set so that each column has a dropdown list that will allow me to

Hello,

Local filtering and search currently is not supported.

No problem.

For static content I found a solution that doesn't rely on jqGrid. In case anybody is looking for something similar, here is a link to it: http://ideamill.synaptrixgroup.com/?page_id=16

It's not truly a grid, but a table solution. It also might spark some ideas in how to add static content filtering into jqGrid.
