I’d like to ask you a question: It’s possible to lock a column like Excel “freeze panels” ?

At the moment this is not possible, but I hope that at the near future this can be achieved. It will be difficult to realize this since the data in grid is represented via table.

I would like to request this feature too.
It would be really useful for large grids to have horizontal scrolling with the first few columns locked.

It is not so easy in the current implementation,
but not impossible. Anyway I will try to implement this, but not in the
incomming 3.3 release
