I don't know how to solve it.

Hey Tony, I'm sorry, but I didn't understand your instructions.

I didn't understand how the grid is executed two times.

There are two grids loading, but the second one is hidden with datatype:'local', until you click the open book icon in the first grid. This will set the datatype in the second to 'json', trigger reloadGrid and jquery 'show' it. But it's always there, though.

Hi Tony! Thanks, but it didn't work. You can test it out here: http://inweb.pt/?com=cursos&act=tipologia&t=7

It only happens on Firefox and Chrome.

All my detail grids are initially hidden. On this example, you have to click the open book icon to see the second.

I tried not hiding the second grid (commenting $(ufb).hide();), but it still didn't work.

I have the same problem. Tried searching the forum, but haven't found the solution.

I'm using jqGrid 3.4, with jQuery 1.3.

Also, in Firefox, if I first click on edit, and then add, the dialog for add has the fields filled with the same data from edit, and I can't do anything with it.

Interesting development.

If I click first on the add, the fields don't show. If after that I click the edit, the fields still don't show.

But…

If I first click on an edit button, the fields do show! And after that, if I click on the add button, they still show!

If I comment out the master grid, detail grid being now the master and only grid, the fields show as normal. It's having two grids that's ruining the edit fields in the latter.

Actually, there is no error. The edit fields just don't show. Only the buttons.

Well… it's working on IE7 not on Firefox 3.0. Is it a known issue? Any ideas?
