Do you still need help on this??

    Enrico,
Why do you need the JQgrid for PHP and DB2? I use JQgrid with DB2 right now. It is using Java but my next project will be with PHP. If you have questions on how to accomplish this with the regular JQGrid just PM me and I’ll give you an email address to contact me.

    Hey Tony,
I’ve been looking around at all kinds of places to try and find a grid that will do everything that I need. So far I have not found anything. But, I’d be willing to take a look at the column freezing feature if you’d like to share where I should start looking. I haven’t been into the JQGrid code since right before the 1.3 jquery upgrade version.

I think this is the only feature that I need that your grid does not support, so if I could help at all then maybe I could take a look.

    Thanks
    Bryce

No, I’m sure it probably has to do with the plugin used to make the tree view in the left hand column.

I have seen in another post that I cannot freeze the first column or any others. Is this being developed, and if yes, then how long until it is release as a feature?

Ok, I got the error to go away, but the data still didn’t load in the footer.

I have done this with JSP, it is possible. I have two grids on the same page and both load dynamically with ajax. You need to make sure the grids are named differently. I also have them pointing to different URL’s since they display different sets of data.

I got it working. There is an example under Loading Data -> Array Data on this page… http://trirand.com/blog/jqgrid/jqgrid.html

I have a screen shot of my firebug console that shows 2 errors. But I can’t post it here that I can see.

Do I have to manually include all of the modules for jqgrid?

I look at the code and I see the modules var, and I don't have any of them listed in my directory… maybe this is the problem?

It just keeps rolling up to the next option.

I have played with it a bit more and found that it just doesn't like the last parameter of the jsonReader option.
